Ovotherm, the globally most innovative company
for clear egg cartons has been awarded the
Sustainability Award in Gold for the most environ-
mentally friendly packaging product in the world
and the World Star for packaging excellence. We
received these prices on 26th of May in Budapest
forum the WPO. We are proud that our strategy
to produce our egg cartons from 100% recycled
post-consumer PET bottles had been recognized
internationally. In 2015 alone Ovotherm egg car-
tons saved 18000 metric tons of CO2.

small red beans, and black-eyed peas.
Tropical Country Rice, an imported
hybrid seed planted by local farmers,
is marketed in 20, 5, and 2 pound
bags.The annual distribution of rice
is approximately 2,670,000 pounds.
Bean and corn handled is just over
1,800,000 lbs.
In the future, Country Foods is
hoping to export its eggs to the
greater Caribbean market. Sales
activity has also begun to increase in
the southern part of Belize, as more
and more people in the country’s rural
areas are depending more on outside
food supplies and less on their home-
grown products. To keep its customers
